Luau Cake
This is a cake I donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Benefit this past weekend. The theme was luau, so I made huge hibiscus flowers and covered the cake with pretty chocolate flowers.
This cake was bit different than what I normally do, since i did not cover it in fondant. Overall, I think it turned out pretty nice.. at least that is what I have been told!

Fairy Cake
My daughter absolutely HAD to have a fairy cake this year! So... of course I am gonna work until 4:30 am to give her one! I believe the BEST part about this cake was when she woke up at 6:30 am, came into my room and got really close to my face and whispers oh so lightly..." Mom, that is the most beautiful cake EVER!" Then she crawls into bed and snuggles up!
This cake has hand painted flowers all around and super yummy raspberry filling... Oh and the fairy, yup.. I made her! Didn't think it was possible, but I did it! Anything for my little princess!
Happy Easter!
This is an Easter Celebration cake. This family very generously gave me for a very small fee.. TONS and I means TONS of royal icing flowers, decorations and many other cool things... It was truly very sweet of them, especially since I really barely even know them! So this is sorta a Thank You cake for them... I am so very glad that they enjoyed it, and I hope to create more for this family in the future!
School Cupcakes....
More cupcakes... darn it! These were for my daughters 6th birthday snack day at school. I worked for long time on these.. and honestly
I think I am getting better. Buttercream is just not my friend sometimes. Give me fondant and I can do anything.. but not with frosting... hahahahaha! She loved them though... and that is what matters to me most!

Camo Cupcakes
I will admit it... I am not a cupcake decorator. I don't like doing it... I don't feel I am good at it, but I suppose practice makes perfect. So when my oldest insisted on Camo cupcakes for his birthday snack for school, I panicked.... Camo??? How in the world... I have no idea how to do that! So after much research, I came up with this... not bad I suppose.... He loved them anyways and that is all that counts right?
Army Tank
Here it is... the much wanted and "had to have" Camo Army Tank, my 8 year old wanted for his birthday! Honestly, I feel the pictures don't do it much justice! Who knew it would be so hard to photograph camo? I sure didn't! Even though I felt like I was on my death bed while creating this tank, I love the way it turned out. It feels good to gets lots of ooohhhh's and ahhhhhh's from a group of 7 and 8 year olds!
